Monthly Discussion

The Hergemony Hour

The Hergemony Hour is a standing monthly international discussion held on the first day of each month. The session is open to anyone who wishes to join a serious conversation on geopolitics, macro systems, global markets, Earth systems, human security, and strategic risk.

In the name Hergemony, “Her” refers to the Earth — the shared planetary system whose stability underpins all political, economic, and human systems. The Hergemony Hour is therefore one hour each month dedicated to discussing the condition and future of the Earth system and the institutions that govern it.

Discussion Principles

The Hergemony Hour is intended as a respectful and serious discussion space. Participants are asked to remain constructive, avoid political campaigning or personal attacks, and keep discussion broadly relevant to geopolitics, governance, Earth systems, human security, macro systems, global markets, or strategic risk.

Participants may speak, listen, or contribute through the chat. The room may be moderated on some months and open discussion on others. The session will conclude at the scheduled time.

Purpose

The purpose of The Hergemony Hour is simple: to create a consistent space where people can step back, once a month, and think seriously about the condition of the world, the stability of the Earth system, the movement of markets, and the future of global cooperation.
